Compassion Fayetteville is one of nearly 70 cities around the world officially designated as a Compassionate City. Over the past 4 years of Compassion Fayetteville’s existence, it has accomplished many acts of compassion for the Fayetteville and Northwest Arkansas area. These acts include feeding the homeless; supporting food banks through food drive collections; supporting organizations as Therapeutic Foster Care, EngageNWA, and The Cisneros Center; establishing the first annual City of Fayetteville Black History Month, and a myriad of examples of compassionate acts.
A few tireless and dedicated volunteers who want to make a difference in their community formed the Compassion Fayetteville organization. Over the past 4 years of its existence, Compassion Fayetteville has accomplished many great things and are improving the culture of compassion in Northwest Arkansas. The time has come for Compassion Fayetteville to take its next step, become an official 501c(3) organization. As an approved 501c(3) organization, Compassion Fayetteville will more easily be able to raise tax deductible funds allowing it to expand its activities to make an even greater impact on Northwest Arkansas.
