Compassion Speaks at Maxine’s in Fayetteville
In honor of the official Month of Compassion (proclaimed by Mayor Lioneld Jordan), come out to tell a story about a moment in your life when you encountered compassion. Whether you were giving or receiving (or rejecting and ignoring), come out to the next Speak for Yourself to share your story with the your community.
Speak for Yourself is a storytelling show by the community, for the community. It is simple storytelling. No paper, no poems, no songs—just tell us a true story about a moment in your life that made an impact on your character. Just be yourself and Speak for Yourself.
Speak for Yourself is a part of Sunday Night Service at Maxine’s, a performances series also featuring the All You Need to Know Show (an information variety show), Whosie Whatsit (a game show), and live music. Always something different. Always no cover.
